Creative Drama, ages 4-6
This course combines the power of imagination with popular acting and drama games. Students here will learn the basics of using their bodies and voices in storytelling, as well as other important skills. Youth participation in drama has been shown to improve communication, literacy, and creativity. On the last day of class, we open the class up to the whole family for an informal sharing session. |

Creative Drama, ages 7-10
Drama develops a child's literacy, creative thinking, and cooperation skills. In Creative Drama, students will take adventures to new and exciting places. Participants will explore the world around them through role playing, storytelling, improvisation, and character work. Students in this age group will also work to put together a short play. On the last day of class, we open the class up to the whole family for an informal sharing session. |
School Kids in Drama (SKiD), ages 8-12
SKiD is a new program that is jam-packed full of everything a budding actor needs. Go through the audition and rehearsal process, work on character development and collaborative work. Perform a series of short plays and monologues. You will become comfortable on the stage with the skills you learn here. |

Reader's Theatre, ages 8-12
Students taking this course will learn new skills in storytelling using little more than their own voices! Reader's Theatre is a simplified style of theatre, taking away the elaborate sets, intricate costumes, props, and full memorization. Then what does that leave?

Young Actors Theatre, ages 8-12
Summer only This camp challenges students to be their best as they tackle putting on a complete play in just 4 weeks! They will audition, rehearse, memorize lines, and develop characters, all leading up to a final performance |

Musical Theatre Camp*, ages 8-12
Summer only It’s all about the music in this performance-based musical theater camp. Learn songs and choreography from familiar and favorite theater productions. Students will get the chance to showcase their talents in a final performance for friends and family! *I co-teach this class with the fabulous Miss Aubri, who teaches many dance classes through Edna Vihel. |
